Celebrating the Professionals Who Protect Public Health and Property
Each April, we celebrate National Pest Management Month—a time to recognize the essential work of pest management professionals across the country. From preventing disease and protecting food supplies to preserving the structural integrity of homes and buildings, our industry plays a critical role in keeping communities safe and healthy.
Pest management is more than a service—it's a frontline defense for public health and safety. This month is an opportunity to highlight the professionalism, science, and dedication behind our industry, and to remind our communities of the vital work our members do every day.
WSPMA encourages all members to take part in National Pest Management Month by raising awareness through your own platforms. Here are a few ways to participate:
Share pest prevention tips with your audience
Post team photos or “day in the life” content
Educate your followers about the value of pest management
Highlight the services you offer that directly support healthy homes and businesses
When posting, feel free to tag @WSPMA and use #NationalPestManagementAssociation to join the national conversation.
WSPMA will share resources throughout April that you can use in your outreach efforts, including graphics and messaging ideas to support your posts and community engagement.
Let’s use this month to amplify the message: pest management professionals are essential, and their work matters.
