RATCourse Descriptions

The Rodent Academy Training is a 3-day intensive workshop designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective residential rodent control. Through a combination of classroom learning and hands-on experience, you'll gain a deep understanding of rodents, their behavior, and how to develop and implement a successful rodent control program.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Field inspections: Learn proper inspection techniques to identify rodent activity and entry points.
  • Exclusion techniques: Discover effective methods for sealing entry points and preventing future rodent infestations.
  • Building construction overview: Gain insights into building elements that attract rodents and understand how construction can be used to deter them.
  • Addressing difficult situations: Develop strategies for tackling complex rodent problems, like infestations in sensitive areas or involving multiple properties.

Beyond the core curriculum, the program offers valuable opportunities for networking and professional development:

  • Connect with vendors: Meet with industry vendors to explore the latest products and technologies for rodent control.
  • Roundtable discussions: Participate in interactive sessions with fellow participants and experts to share best practices and discuss strategies.
  • Hands-on experience: Gain practical skills through real-world exercises and simulations.

By combining classroom learning with hands-on experience, the Rodent Academy Training provides a well-rounded educational experience for anyone involved in residential rodent control. If you're looking to enhance your knowledge and skills in this area, this program is an excellent investment.
