Wood Destroying Organisms (WDO) (2:15 PM – 3:10 PM)

Nefertiti Darby (Corteva)

Nefertiti Darby is an enthusiastic learner who has a passion for seeing other people pursue their goals with vigor and determination. While obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Biology at Indiana University she quickly came to realize her purpose was service. She is currently working as Territory Sales Consultant with Corteva Agriscience's leading termite colony elimination system Sentricon® and began her career with Dow AgroSciences working in the lab for the same product in 2011. Nefertiti understands the power of positive tension to propel us along as a confident course and stretch us beyond our limited beliefs. Nefertiti Darby - headshot

Blair Smith, BCE (Clark Pest Control)

 

Blair Smith is the Director of Technical & Quality Assurance for Clark Pest Control, based in Lodi, CA. She works with her team of 5 QA Managers supporting 29 branches in California and 1 in Nevada. She is a member of the Urban Pest Management Technical Committee, Pi Chi Omega Fraternity, serves the California Pest Management Association on various committees, and recently became a Board-Certified Entomologist. Her favorite part of the job is training new technicians, specifically for license prep where she has helped hundreds of new technicians obtain their general pest and WDO state licenses. Outside of work she volunteers with local 4-H and FFA groups & has a passion for livestock & agriculture. In her free time she likes spending time outdoors with her husband Jonathan and Rottweiler Marley.
