Randy Moffat

President

Thank you for entrusting me with the opportunity to serve as your association president. For those that don’t know much about me, I entered this industry in January of 1994 as a technician.

I have spent many years as a residential tech, commercial tech, troubleshooter, service, sales and district manager and technical/training specialist. I have had my Associate Certified Entomologist accreditation since 2015. Recently, I was honored with the role of Director of Operations for United Pest Solutions in Kenmore.

My family consists of 4 kids, mostly grown up, my wife, Trinity, and our pets.

Luke Rambo

PestVets Chair / Liasion

Luke Rambo has been in the pest control industry since 2001, and in 2007 he and his wife Tera opened Rambo Total Pest Control.  After a few fledgling years Luke decided to get more involved with Washington State Pest Management Association.

Since that time Rambo Total Pest Control has really taken off.  With the support and advice from numerous industry leaders, along with whole army of referral partners, Rambo Total Pest Control grew from 1 employee to 25 over their first 15 years in business.  Originally from West Seattle, Luke now lives in Puyallup with his wife and two kids.  In his time away from the bug business, he enjoys supporting his kiddos in their various activities, working on house projects, and has recently gotten back into collecting baseball cards.  Luke likes to eat, so if you are ever in the Puyallup area and want to connect over lunch, give him a call.  He’ll probably even pick up the tab!.

Mark Lee

Vice President

I have been in Pest Control Since 1997. I started as a salesman for Orkin Pest Control and left them in 2001 to start my own Pest Control Company All American Pest Control.

I worked really hard for 5 years and grew the company to twelve employees. I sold All American Pest Control to Terminix in 2006 and retired for about a year.  In 2007 I bought into a Company called American Curb & Edging. We started  American Crawlspace Cleanouts just to keep our employees busy in the winter so we wouldn’t have to lay them off. In 2011 my noncompete was up so we started American Pest Services. This has been a very good strategy because the two divisions complement each other. We have 49 employees and have just recently move our headquarters into a 10,000 sq. ft. building which gives us the space to store all our equipment and grow.

In my personal time I enjoy golfing and spending time with my 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 1 greatgrandchild.

My personal accomplishments include 2 national titles in Fastpitch softball 2 gold medals from the Olympic Sports festival and a gold medal in the Pan Am games.

I look forward to serving you on the board and have learned a great deal from the members of the association and feel like we can accomplish a great deal in the future.

Billy Olesen

Immediate Past President

A little about me, I started working for my dad at Chuck Sullivan Exterminators, (DBA:Peststop) in 2005 before deciding to venture off on my own and work for a couple other great pest control companies.

In 2015, I returned to take over the family business as CEO and rebranded it as PestStop. The experiences gained and lessons I learned from working for others has given me a unique perspective of not just how I run my company but how others run theirs. Our industry is as diverse as it is great. I am dedicated to ensuring it stays this way. Working my way through our industry and experiencing the many challenges that all our companies face helps me to relate and better represent the needs of our industry.

I am always learning and working to become the best leader I can be. In 2014, I became an Associate Certified Entomologist and was later selected to be part of NPMA’s first ever Executive Leadership Program (ELP). I served on NPMA’s diversity committee and was Chairman of Kitsap Counties Noxious Weed Control Board. I currently serve as NPMA/WSPMA’s Vice-State Political Action Representative alongside Larry Treleven, am on NPMA’S PestVets committee, NPMA’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Taskforce, WSU’s PMP Advisory Committee and the Technical Committee.

There’s nothing like the pest control industry. It was an honor to give back by serving you and your business’s needs as President of the Washington State Pest Management Association. I thank you all for your confidence and continued support of our industry and will remain involved in Association work.
