WSPMA PWIPM of the Year – Samantha Malone

The Washington State Pest Management Association is delighted to honor Samantha Malone of Olympia Pest Management as the first recipient of the PWIPM of the Year Award.

Samantha’s leadership and mentorship have made her a cornerstone of the Professional Women in Pest Management (PWIPM) community in the Pacific Northwest. She has created opportunities for women to grow their careers, find mentorship, and pursue professional certifications and education. Her colleagues recognize her as a connector—someone who brings people together, fosters collaboration, and ensures that women’s voices are heard in industry conversations.

Beyond her leadership with PWIPM, Samantha is deeply committed to advancing the industry as a whole. She has developed educational programming, supported charitable initiatives, and built bridges across organizations to strengthen pest management’s role in protecting communities. Her efforts go far beyond her own business, uplifting others and creating a culture of support and excellence.
