Helping Hand House

Founded in 1984 by Margie Addington, Helping Hand House addresses the urgent need for families facing homelessness in the local community. With a commitment to providing immediate relief and fostering trust and dignity, Helping Hand House has grown to encompass seven emergency homes and five housing solution programs. Serving nearly 200 families annually in East Pierce County, their mission is to end the crisis of homelessness by offering support, stability, and the opportunity for self-sufficiency. Through their values of urgent relief, trust, and dignity, Helping Hand House works tirelessly to rekindle hope, revive dreams, and change lives for the better.
