Nominate Your Business for a YesVets Award

If your company hires veterans, this is your chance to be recognized for your commitment! The Washington state Hire-A-Vet Employer of the Year Award celebrates businesses that go above and beyond to employ veterans.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be registered with the YesVets program (free and easy to sign up at YesVets.org).
• Hired at least one veteran in 2023 or 2024.
• 7% of your 2024 hires are veterans, or meet these alternative criteria:
  • Retained 75% of veterans hired in 2023 for at least 12 months.
  • 7% of your total workforce are veterans.
  • Made specific efforts to support veterans or their families.

Benefits of YesVets:

• Priority invitations to job fairs and choice booth placements.
• Statewide recognition on social media and at an in-person ceremony on Flag Day, June 14.
• A special plaque to display at your business.
