WSPMA Shines at PestWorld 2024
WSPMA
PestWorld 2024, held at the stunning Gaylord Rockies Resort in Denver, Colorado, was a showcase of innovation, growth, and camaraderie, with over 20 Washington companies proudly represented. The breathtaking venue and idyllic weather set the stage for a dynamic event packed with over 60 educational sessions across four days.
Each morning began with inspirational general sessions attended by upwards of 3,000 pest professionals. Notably, Justin Forsett, former Seattle Seahawk, delivered a moving presentation that resonated with attendees. The WSPMA Board gathered for a photo opportunity following his address, capturing a moment of unity and pride.
The exhibit hall was a highlight, boasting over 200 exhibits featuring cutting-edge products and solutions for every facet of the pest management industry. Several WSPMA members also took the stage as session speakers, sharing their expertise on a national platform.
During the State Association Brunch, WSPMA's Professional Women in Pest Management (PWIPM) chapter was recognized for their impactful fundraising efforts during the June 5K event. Billy Olesen was honored during a general session, as a graduate of the inaugural Leader Launch program, and AJ Treleven was announced as a participant in the upcoming cohort, showcasing WSPMA members' dedication to leadership and growth.
The event embodied the spirit of connection and innovation. Representing WSPMA and witnessing the active involvement of our members was a true pleasure, as the meeting left everyone inspired, informed, and united in advancing the pest management profession.
