WSPMA Prepares for Full Legislative Day with 2025 Dry Run in Olympia

Government Affairs

The Washington State Pest Management Association (WSPMA) is excited to announce that we are laying the groundwork for a full-scale Legislative Day in 2026 by conducting a "dry run" this year in Olympia. This strategic move allows us to fine-tune the experience, build relationships with legislators, and ensure that when we officially launch in 2026, we’ll be well-prepared to make a meaningful impact.

This year’s dry run will serve as a valuable opportunity to strategize about our schedule, meeting formats, and messaging—while beginning to establish a consistent presence in Olympia. We’ll be engaging with key lawmakers and staff to start important conversations about the value and needs of Washington’s pest management industry.

Our goal is simple but critical: to protect and promote Washington’s pest management businesses. By educating legislators on the essential role our industry plays in public health, food safety, and property protection, we can advocate for policies that support our work and push back on those that may harm it.

Your participation and support next year will help shape a successful Legislative Day in 2026. Together, we’re making sure that WSPMA has a strong, united voice at the Capitol—and that our industry’s future in Washington remains secure.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue building momentum!
