WSPMA Summer Meeting – Special Guest: Rep. Kevin Waters

We’re excited to announce that Rep. Kevin Waters will be joining us at this year’s WSPMA Summer Meeting to talk about the current business climate and what’s happening in Olympia that affects our industry.

Kevin is a lifelong resident of Southwest Washington and a true advocate for small business. He built Backwoods Brewing from the ground up, growing it into a company with more than 70 employees. He’s served his community in many roles—from Port Commissioner to Executive Director of the Skamania Economic Development Council—and now as a legislator representing the 17th District.

Kevin serves on several important committees, including Capital Budget, Community & Economic Development, and Regulated Substances & Gaming. He brings a real-world, business-minded approach to state government and is focused on cutting red tape, supporting law enforcement, and helping rural economies thrive.

This is a great opportunity to hear directly from a legislator who understands the challenges business owners face—and who’s working to make Washington a better place to live and work.
