Education & Professional Development: Learning, Leadership, and Connection
Education
Education remained a core focus of WSPMA’s work in 2025, supporting members through every stage of their professional and business journey. Throughout the year, the association delivered a wide range of educational opportunities designed to meet the evolving needs of pest management professionals across Washington.
WSPMA offered a balanced mix of classroom instruction, hands-on training, virtual learning, and business development sessions. Programs covered technical and regulatory topics, safety training, leadership development, and business operations, while also providing opportunities to earn required credits. In addition to formal education, WSPMA’s interest groups—including PestVets and Professional Women in Pest Management (PWIPM)—created space for connection, mentorship, and peer-to-peer learning.
As the industry continues to change, WSPMA remains committed to delivering relevant, practical, and accessible education that supports strong businesses and skilled professionals. Members are encouraged to visit and follow the WSPMA Upcoming Events page regularly to stay informed about upcoming educational programs, business development sessions, and interest group meetings. These opportunities are designed to help members stay connected, informed, and prepared for the year ahead.
