...M.S. and Ph.D. at Washington State University and serves as an adjunct professor at both universities.
She has continued to study carpenter ants and has been involved in a number of research projects involving biology and control since 1979. Her work has been published in trade magazines for the pest control industry and in scientific journals.
She received the Orkin Award for Research Excellence in 1993 and in 1999, the PCT/Syngenta Professional Crown Leadership Award: Class of 2006, Inducted into the 2015 PMP Hall Of Fame and co authored a book with John Klotz, titled Carpenter ants of the United States and Canada, in 2005 and a second book co authored with John Klotz, R. Pospichil, and M. Rust in 2008, Urban Ants of North America and Europe.
4 credit hours anticipated for WA & OR. Space is limited to 24 per lab.
